The villa Antico Mulino is located in the center of a small valley where a stream flows which in the past, since about 1000, fed its own water to the mill. When Giovan Battista and Chiara decided to buy this house they did not know of the existence of the mill nor of the history it had had and it was only by doing the restoration work that the ancient structure came out. Therefore, it was decided to maintain and preserve the medieval appearance of the house as much as possible. Currently the house is about 180 square meters fully air conditioned with air conditioning, the rooms are not very large because in the past the rural houses had small rooms for air conditioning issues especially in the cold months, it is equipped with 4 double bedrooms and a single bedroom, there are 3 bathrooms with shower and a service bathroom without shower, in the center there is the living room with the kitchenette and on the front portion of the house an air-conditioned glazed room has been created with the function of a porch where the dining room has been placed for pleasant convivial moments immersed in nature. Outside, leaning against the house, there is the mill basin which has been transformed into a swimming pool in all respects, while maintaining its ancient appearance it has been rebuilt like the original basin using the same material that has been disassembled and reassembled, that is the sandstone that had been used in ancient times, to restore the original appearance of the reservoir. In the back there is the old wood-burning oven that was once used by the small community of the area and is still functional. The house is surrounded on three sides by a 500 square meter garden with BBQ area and heated outdoor shower and is equipped with a private parking, in front of it extends the olive grove annexed to the property of 5000 square meters crossed by the driveway to the villa.
